Tetra Aquasafe and Tetra Crusta Aquasafe are water conditioners designed for use in aquariums and tanks. Tetra Aquasafe is formulated to make tap water safe for fish by neutralizing harmful chemicals such as chlorine and heavy metals, and adding essential vitamins and minerals to promote fish health. Tetra Crusta Aquasafe is specifically designed for use in shrimp and crustacean tanks, providing similar benefits to Tetra Aquasafe but with a focus on the needs of shrimp and other crustaceans. Both products help to create a safe and healthy environment for aquatic animals. **

Aquasafe is not harmful to fish when used as directed. It is a water conditioner that helps remove harmful chemicals like chlorine and chloramine from tap water, making it safe for fish to live in. However, it is important to follow the instructions on the product label and not overdose, as this could potentially harm the fish. Overall, Aquasafe is a beneficial product for maintaining a healthy aquatic environment for fish. **

The shelf life of Tetra AquaSafe is typically around 3 years when stored properly in a cool, dry place. It is important to check the expiration date on the packaging before use, as expired products may not be as effective in treating tap water for aquarium use. It is recommended to use the product within the recommended shelf life for best results. **

Corydoras catfish and Endler Guppies are both freshwater fish that can generally tolerate tap water. However, using a water conditioner like Aquasafe is recommended to remove chlorine, chloramine, and heavy metals from tap water, making it safer for the fish. It is always best to use a water conditioner to ensure the health and well-being of your fish. **

After one day of setting up the tank, you can add shrimp by first treating the water with Aquasafe to remove chlorine and chloramine and make it safe for aquatic life. Then, you can add Safestart to introduce beneficial bacteria that will help establish a healthy biological balance in the tank. It's important to acclimate the shrimp to the tank water by floating the bag in the tank for about 15-20 minutes to allow the water temperature to equalize. Then, you can carefully release the shrimp into the tank. It's important to monitor the water parameters closely in the following days to ensure the shrimp are adjusting well to their new environment. **
